1. Convert the commercial idea into an engineering brief
The first step is to clarify the user, market, sales channel, target positioning, must-have functions, visual direction, timing and commercial constraints. Reference products are useful, but they should be translated into priorities rather than copied feature by feature.
At this stage DESON POWER identifies which requirements can use a developed platform and which require new engineering, tooling or validation. Open assumptions are recorded so the project team can close them deliberately.
2. Align the complete product architecture
Motor and airflow, electronic controls, power system, thermal paths, structure, industrial design, accessories and packaging are reviewed together. This is where incompatible expectations are exposed early, when decisions are still comparatively inexpensive to change.
The output should include a defined product route, responsibility split, target configuration, planned validation work and the decisions needed from the buyer.
3. Build samples against named decision gates
Prototype rounds should answer specific questions. One round may verify form and grip; another may verify airflow, temperature, controls or attachment behavior. Combining every unresolved issue into one sample usually slows decisions.
Buyer feedback is recorded against the agreed brief. Changes that affect cost, timing, tooling or compliance are reviewed before being absorbed into the next build.
4. Validate the sellable configuration
The project configuration includes more than the main unit. Plug and voltage, cable, accessories, markings, instructions, packaging and destination-market requirements all need to match the product being sold.
Testing and compliance plans are confirmed according to the final configuration and target market. Claims should follow verified results, not precede them.
5. Freeze and hand off to controlled production
Before mass production, the approved sample, drawings, bill of materials, inspection criteria, packaging and controlled documents must describe the same product. Any later change needs ownership and traceability.
This disciplined handoff lets the development team and production team work from one definition, reducing ambiguity during ramp-up and supporting more reliable repeat orders.
